I am a Registered Career Development Professional (RDCP) with the Career Development Institute (CDI) and hold an MSc in Career Management and Coaching (2021) as well as a Qualification in Career Guidance (2008). I have been self employed as a career coach since 2020 and prior to that spent ten years managing a busy employment and training service in a homeless day centre. I have worked extensively in the voluntary sector with diverse client groups: jobseekers, older people, refugees and asylum seekers, people in community education, people living with mental health problems and neurodivergence. In addition to my private practice, I offer career coaching, facilitate reflective practice groups and undertake mediation work for Brett Grellier Psychological Services and am an associate career coach for Stay Nimble.
I have undertaken training as a supervisor for career professionals and am a Mental Health First Aider. My research on the career choices of semi-retired people recently won the Bill Law Award 2022.
I am DBS checked, registered with the Information Commissioners Office and abide by the Career Development Institute’s Code of Ethics.
